You as an Application Engineer
You’ll ensure solutions match customer needs, guiding technical specifications for both new machines and retrofit projects. Your role bridges Engineering, Sales, and Procurement, ensuring customer requirements are clearly understood and implemented. You will gather insights from Sales, translating customer needs into detailed specifications for the Engineering team. You’ll manage documentation from quotation to order fulfilment, preparing technical content for quotations, order confirmations, and contracts.
You’ll actively participate in customer visits, negotiations, and technical meetings to showcase product technological advancements. You’ll evaluate non-standard solutions, collaborating with specialists to assess feasibility and risks. Your focus will be on theoretical aspects like cost calculations, heat exchange evaluations, and designing and reading P&IDs. You’ll ensure all engineering designs meet the required specifications.
In essence, you’ll integrate technical and commercial aspects, driving projects from conception to completion, ensuring customer satisfaction and project success.
